Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy met face to face for the first time since their 2019 VGMA fracas few hours ago at the Mariot Hotel in Accra, for their peacemaking process dubbed, ‘Peace Conference.’
The great initiative was masterminded by Dr Kofi Abban and GHone newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah. Both artists took time to answer questions from the media and the specially invited guests and it was a great delight to see two bitterest enemy finally smoking the peace pipe for the sake of their fans and advancement of the industry.
The two Dancehall greats answered questions from the media during which they were asked whether they are ever willing to work with Charterhouse following their ban and other punishment they received from the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Stonebwoy answered this particular question and said they are open to do business with anyone who is willing to work with them. On whether their peace will last, Stonebwoy said,
“We are willing and open to work with whoever is ready to work with us. If they do lift the ban, we are willing to work as professionals and we will do things right”.
“It is only human, we are not perfect, and as humans we will keep trying to get to the top and for the peace between us to last. Peace is key in everything.
“The length of this unity is not dependent on us, we leave it to divine. And we beg you the media not to pitch us against eaceh other,” Stonebwoy responded to a question about the future of the peace moves between them.
