I don’t do Secular music, I do love songs – Akwaboah

SarkCess Music signee and popular songwriter, singer and instrumentalist, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah, famously known as Akwaboah, has reacted to the popular notion that he’s a circular musician though he’s a regular church attendant.

The ‘Hye me Bo’ hitmaker in an interview with Zionfelix on his Uncut show made it clear that the kind of song he does and writes for others cannot be classified as a circular song due to the content/the message it carries,

In his assertion, he only does love songs and therefore would not classify himself as a circular artist. When quizzed why he’s not into gospel music since he’s a keyboardist at his church, the composer who is reported to have written a song for American popular musician, Alicia Keys cited an example that R Kelly et all does Gospel and later switch to doing circular music.

He further revealed that he has two Gospel songs he’s yet to release; one a worship song and the other being High tempo praise.

Anybody who hears his song sees the maturity in it and it’s obvious he’s a good composer beside being a good singer. However, his progress in our music industry has been very slow despite his unique singing prowess.
