Castro should never be forgotten – D-Black

Five years after Fante rapper and singer Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro The Destroyer aka Castro Under Fire, went missing, one of his closest friends and colleague musician Desmond Blackmore has urged Ghanaians to idolize the versatile musician.

D-Black as he is affectionately called has said Castro should not be forgotten though he’s no more.

He made this statement in a response to a question whether he has forgotten about the “Saradi Nam” crooner in a recent interview on Happy 98.9FM with DJ Advicer.

The Black Musik Avenue boss stated on the ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show that he can never forget Castro.

According to D-Black, he recruited the late sensational talent on his yet-to-be released single.

He said “My third album features Castro but because of what happened to him, I had to low for that particular album.”

The “Vera” hitmaker divulged that the song he recorded with Castro is on his forthcoming album.

D-Black explained “I have a song with Castro on my 4th album. I wasn’t gonna put him on it but I think I will. Because I want people to hear Castro again. It been so long. I wasn’t gonna touch that song,”

He, however, hinted that he will be releasing his 4th album on September 17, 2019. This album has 15 songs which include, 5 Hiplife songs, 5 Hip-Pop song, and 5 Afrobeat songs.
