Urban gospel artiste, Emmanuel Yoofi Esuman Mensah popularly known as Kingzkid has disclosed that he almost lost his life at the Accra Mall after his return from the Young Adult Beach Camp at ADA.
He recounted that it happened, after visiting the mall to meet a friend, when a lady showed up and started screaming, and said “That’s the guy, ‘Mo bunu’ literally “beat him”.
He added that out of nowhere men and women came rushing in with sticks and whatever they could find to beat me up. Kingzkid said unknown to him the lady’s phone had been stolen a few minutes before he got there and the lady was insisting he was a thief.
“He is a thief, he has gone to change his clothes after stealing my phone” the woman added.
The rapper said by the grace of God, he was set free by the people and drove home safely.
The rapper urged people to stop mob violence because it has resulted in killing innocent souls.
Kingzkid who has shared the stage with great musicians like lionel Peterson from South Africa , America Micah Stampley, Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum is yet to release the video of his single ‘ shoe shine’
