Dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has warned upcoming dancehall artistes to shun unnecessary feud to boost their careers.
According to him, he has the ticket to the Heaven of Dancehall hence the underground artistes should shun throwing lyrical shots at him and rather concentrate on promoting themselves.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Kasahari with host Pope Skinny, the ‘Ayoo’ hit maker urged the upcoming artistes to follow the right path to their success, if not; they will never see the limelight in the industry.
“But to be real, the dancehall artistes are trying to beef me. The underground artistes have to follow the Shatta movement path. I have the Ticket to Dancehall’s heaven. If they don’t pray and follow the right path, or come and follow the Shatta movement path that can take them to heaven, the hit songs will never come…” he maintained.
According to Shatta Wale, patience is the only key that will yield an artiste success in the industry as he has been underground for ten years before hitting the public eye.
“I have been ten years underground. I have patience. I am a hustler in my lane. When I see boys who have patience I help them to do well. They need to be patient and they will eventually shoot up…” he advised.
